Saturated fat may also heighten the risk of heart disease. Those suffering from psoriasis are in a higher risk to have a heart attack or stroke to begin with, so try cutting that down. In the mood for red meat? Going out with friends for dinner?  Try opting for lean cuts, such as sirloin or fillet, or choose low-fat ground beef.

Eat plenty of fatty-fish. Unlike the red meat we just spoke about, fatty fish are rich in omega-3.  It can assist with inflammation and boost your immune system. According to a recent research conducted, people who ate 6 ounces of fatty fish per week had less psoriasis symptoms. And unlike high fat red-meat, healthy fats from fish like Salmon, Tuna, Sardines and Herring may lower your chances of heart disease.


Say NO to processed sugar. Sugar is known to make inflammation worse and raise the chances of a heart disease. Food’s high in processed sugar also lead to weight gain, and obesity which is medically known to take a toll on people suffering with psoriasis. Cut back on candy and soda. If you’re going out to a restaurant, skip out on desert, and just stick to some fruit.
